Introduction/简介:

In the past, Western record companies would use cutting and punching methods to destroy unsalable CDs and music tapes. In the 1990s, these destroyed products were often exported to mainland China as “foreign garbage.” They brought new trendy culture to Chinese young people at that time, especially rock music. This time, Wang Langgou destroyed his 260+ unsalable Chinese poetry collections and sent them to an artist in the United States.

西方唱片公司会使用切割和打孔的方法来销毁滞销的CD和音乐磁带。在20世纪90年代前后，这些被销毁的产品经常被当作“洋垃圾”出口到中国大陆，给当时的中国年轻人带来了新的潮流文化，尤其是摇滚乐。仿照这种处理形式，王狼狗将自己滞销的260本诗集打口销毁，并将其寄给了美国的一位艺术家。

This is also the first time that unsaleable Chinese cultural products have been exported to the West as “foreign garbage”. Wang Langgou hopes that they can also bring a different culture to young people in the West World.
